In this episode, Cheryl and Monica discuss:

Prioritizing growth and inner work  Communicating with your subpersonality  Working on yourself to serve others Practicing the three awakenings

Key Takeaways:

Prioritize working on yourself. Your growth will determine the quality of your life and your relationship with other people. Seek patterns in your ancestry and really delve within to find cycles that you desire to stop.  First, accept your subpersonality and be aware of it. Love it because it’s a part of you. Then, ask it questions and listen. Find out why it had to exist in the first place. The more you listen to it, the more you’ll be able to healthily provide what it needs.  Working on yourself is an act of service to those around you. When you commit to improving yourself, people around you and your environment magically changes as well.  Take a few deep breaths when you wake up in the morning. Remind yourself who you are and what’s important to you. Set intentions and say affirmations. Then, go into your day.

“Your mindset and who you are and how you show up to those goals will determine whether you’re going to even cross that finish line.”  — Monica Reyes
