The Chicago White Sox beat the Detroit Tigers in the series finale, 4-2. The Sox split the series with Detroit. The White Sox took advantage of an error made by Detroit's leftfielder, Robbie Grossman in 8th inning with two outs. AJ Pollock had a big RBI pinch hit single and Eloy Jimenez had an RBI single of his own to help the Sox capitalize on the situation. White Sox starter, Michael Kopech, did not have very good stuff but was able to get past a rough first inning and limit the damage to just two runs in a little over 5 innings. Sox bullpen did a great job of silencing the Tigers late in the game. Gavin Sheets provided some power with a game tying solo home run in the 6th inning. The Sox start a critical series in Cleveland on Monday and send Lance Lynn to the mound to kick things off.
