The Chicago White Sox lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday, 11-9. The Dodgers took two of three games from the White Sox. White Sox starter Dylan Cease was in command early in the game and was supported by a 4-0 lead but the Dodgers took advantage of poor White Sox defense and jumped ahead in the 5th inning, then added more runs in the 6th. White Sox manager, Tony La Russa, decided to intentionally walk Dodgers hitter Trea Turner with a 1-2 count to get to Max Muncy. It was an absolutely confusing decision for both White Sox and Dodgers broadcasters, as well as fans everywhere. Muncy delivered a three run homerun in response. The White Sox rallied in both the 8th and 9th innings but came up short. The Chicago White Sox host the Texas Rangers for three games starting on Friday.
