The wait is finally over as the Indiana Hoosiers football team will finally be in action on Friday in their season opener against the Illinois Fighting Illini. After a long, long summer and lots of changes, IU will begin answering questions in a big game.
On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) gives you everything you need to know about the Week 1 match-up between Big Ten foes. Despite their geographical proximity, this will be just the second meeting between the two sides since 2013.
Given it's the first game of the season, the line for this contest has been all over the place. After opening at IU favored by four points, it's reached as high as six points and as low as 1.5 points, where it sits heading into Friday.
The show wraps by looking at some key match-ups to monitor for the game. Defensively, the Hoosiers will need to contain Chase Brown while the entire offense will have questions to answer on the night.
