While we've spent days, weeks and months talking about the Indiana Hoosiers football team, there hasn't been nearly as much talk about the Illinois Fighting Illini. Coming off a Week 0 win over Wyoming, the Illini head into Friday having had a warm-up that IU hasn't.

On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) welcomes in the assistant sports editor of the Daily Illini in Jonathan Alday (@JonathanAlday7) to talk about Illinois. While Friday will be the season-opener for IU, the Illini come in with a 1-0 record after beating the Cowboys.

Like the Hoosiers, Illinois came into the season with a QB battle, but one that wasn't quite as much of a coin flip. Behind a strong running game from Chase Brown and a stout defense, Illinois comes into the season with a realistic shot at a bowl game.

The show wraps by looking at why the Illini still have some unanswered questions heading into Friday. While they had a strong display against Wyoming, there are still some concerns that exist.
