The Indiana women's basketball team has had an impressive start to the season with a perfect 10-0 record, earning them one of the four No. 1 seeds in early bracketology for the NCAA women's basketball tourney. The Hoosiers are one of two Big Ten teams with a one seed and are actually fairly comfortable a one seed as things stand.
On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) sets the table in the Big Ten as things stand with conference play having just begun. The Buckeyes appear to offer as much of a threat for the Big Ten title this year as the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The Hoosiers' strong start has come in big part due to Mackenzie Holmes and her brilliant play. If her strong season continues, Holmes is going to quickly rise up the all-time record books for the program.
A player that should have been chasing records hand in hand with her this year was Grace Berger, who remains out with a knee injury. The show wraps by looking at her place in the record books right now and also the possibility of if a medical redshirt is an option for her.
