The season might be in it's early stages, but the Avalanche are not waiting around to make some changes. Ben Meyers, fresh off scoring his first goal of the season, was sent to the Colorado Eagles and Lukas Sedlak was placed on waivers. The expectation is Sedlak will clear the waiver wire and head to Loveland with Meyers.
So, who gets the call to replace the two fourth line forwards? One will likely be Jacob MacDonald who has been with the team and practicing. The other, Martin Kaut.
We also take a look at the Avs Wednesday opponent in the Winnipeg Jets and discuss the Gary Bettman press conference where he stated there was a good chance the cap goes up by $4 million next season compared to $1 million. My, how the Avs are praying for that.
