We'll start with the bad news.

We knew Gabriel Landeskog would miss the beginning of the season we just didn't know how much time. Now we know.

Landeskog and the Avalanche opted for arthroscopic knee surgery and will miss the next 12 weeks. If all goes well in his recovery, we can expect the Captian back in January.

On the ice, the Avalanche came out and were dominated by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1st period. But as the game went on, the Avalanche started to get looks and would tie it up and force OT.....which lasted all of 30 seconds.

Chris and Kyle break it all down! Tune in and subscribe!
