In this episode, we dive into The Somniskills Workbook to help you understand why you may be having trouble and provide some tools to help you get a good night's rest!  Rachel Reed's husband, Dr. David Reed, was a Psychologist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and helped people develop healthy sleep habits. He decided to write The Somniskills Workbook to give people another tool to utilize on their own. Unfortunately, David passed away unexpectedly before the book was completed, so Dr. William (Bill) Sacco stepped up to help Rachel finish the book and get it published. In this episode, Rachel shares her personal story of struggling to achieve quality sleep and changes she made because of what she learned from David and then Bill provides some steps you can take to ensure a good night's rest.

  Part 2:  Weekly Words of Wisdom - Lynda talks about her recent trip to Arizona and going through the Navajo Reservation.  She was surprised to see so many convenience stores and fast food restaurants and talks about how the Navajo Reservation is considered a food desert and how that has led to a decline in health for the people living there.
