Do you wake up everyday driven to make everyone happy? Are your like a sailboat on the rough waters of public opinion? Being blown to and fro, by the shifting opinions and values of others in your world- many of whom you have little in common with? When was the last time you spent time posing the questions, then answering them? Who Am I? Why am I here? If today was my last day on this planet, did it matter, one bit, that I was given life? How many peoples lives are better for me having lived on this planet? If you do not know who you, and why you are here, then you will be blown around by the fickly opinions of people who do not have your best interest in mind. This is the pathway to a life of confusion and one that will lack fulfillment.

On Today's Podcast of Living Life Like It Matters, it is ‘Story time with Mr. Black’. Today’s story is about our friend Goha, his son, and his donkey. The message of the story is to know thyself. Logo therapy is the pursuit of meaning in our lives. Logo therapy is founded on the belief that human nature is motivated by the search for a life purpose. In the process of finding our purpose, we need to understand key “existential questions”. Existentialism a system of ideas made famous by Jean Paul Sartre in the 1940s in which the basic presupposition is, our world has no meaning, except the meaning which we give it, and that each person is alone and completely responsible for their own actions, by which they make their own character, and thus derive their meaning. Again, here is a repeat lesson in leadership; It’s all about choices! When we choose to decide who we are, and why we are here, then what to do is not dictated by opinion, it is dictated by purpose. Enjoy today’s Story Time, titled, “When you know WHO you are, then what to do is not so complicated!"
