I ride roller-coasters all the time without visiting amusement parks...

Yeah, I'm talking about my emotions.

In any given day, I can go from HAPPY JOY JOY to WTF WORLD to *heavy crying*.

And the last few months, it's felt a little more challenging to get to my usual "Marie Joy" if I'm being totally honest.

But I think that's the most important thing, that we be honest and also normalize being a human.

As a human, we get the opportunity to experience a wide variety of emotions. The full spectrum if you will.

And I think that's a beautiful thing! Even if some of the emotions and experiences on that scale are downright painful and uncomfortable as hell.

So I rode the roller-coaster today and as I was about to have a nap in an attempt to feel better, a little voice said, "it's burn out. You're experiencing burn out."

And I felt so at peace even in the admitting of that.
