In this episode, I talk about how your attitude is the key to success in every area of life--professional, personal, and social. Your attitude, how you show up and the energy you bring to every situation, will open or close doors of opportunities. A positive attitude will not, necessarily, enable you to do everything, but it will help you do everything better. Be sure, every day, in every situation, to choose a useful attitude.

Quotes from the show:
Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude. - Zig Ziglar
Your I CAN is more important that your IQ - Robin S. Sharma
A positive mental attitude will not let you do everything, but it will let you do everything better! - Zig Ziglar
Show outline:

Took my boys to see Earth, Wind and Fire last night and had an amazingly fun time

Youngest son did not want to go and put on a serious pout
Before the show started I said to him "you get to choose whether you have fun or not."

It took a while, but he made the transition to choose fun

Throughout the show, we danced together!

Attitude is EVERYTHING! It's a recurrent theme that is so important to life!

Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude. -- Zig Ziglar
Your I CAN is more important that your IQ -- Robin S. Sharma

It's all about how you show up in the world, the energy you put out there

This energy (your attitude about yourself, others and situations) attracts and repels people

Your success inlifeis determined more by your attitude than your aptitude!

Think about some of the most successful people you know. What makes them so successful?

Is it natural gifts/abilities? Surely there are smarter, more gifted people
It is their attitude--their desire to succeed, there desire to get along with people who can help them?

Do you believe in yourself? Do you have an I CAN attitude?
Do you realize that other people hold the keys to what you want, so you have to get along with them and make them like you?
Youmay be the smartest, brightest, most qualified candidate for a job

Do you have an entitlement attitude--I showed up, so give me the job?
Do you have a team player--I can contribute great things to make this company great--attitude?

You may be the best athlete, but if you can't get along with the coaches and other players, nobody will want you to play for their team
Your success in work and personalrelationshipswill be based on your attitude

The rich get richer, the happy have good things happen in there lives, largely because of the energy they put out

Apositivemental attitude will not let you do everything, but it will let you do everything better! -ZigZiglar

A positive, friendly attitude does not guarantee success
But a negative, critical, distrustful attitude will always hold you back

The good news is you don’t need to have any special skills or training to have a positive attitude, you simply have to choose it!
