In the second episode in our BOOK IT! series, we talk about the 2007 blockbuster film I am Legend, the third screen adaptation of Richard Matheson's classic 1954 book of the same name. Starring Will Smith, his adorable German Shepherd and an extremely empty New York City, we follow our protagonist as he battles what's left of humanity after they evolved into vampire-like creatures. Suprisingly, this is a horror film that Graham and Ashley actually wind up liking!! But due to the horrible ending, the poor explination of the book's theme and the absolutely gut-wrenching death of Sam the dog, none of us will be revisiting this film any time soon. JUST READ THE DAMN BOOK ALREADY.
