This week is part 2 of my conversation with chef and author Julia Turshen. She has coauthored numerous cookbooks and is one of the great cooks and writers of our time. Julia not only loves cooking and writing about food, she also loves talking about it and hosts her own podcast which we spoke about in this week's episode. I could have spoken to her for two more hours and hope I get to in the future. We discussed her creative process, the process of coauthoring books, body image, diet culture and the food industry, the quiet power of cookbooks, how to avoid "co-dep cooking," cooking for others vs. cooking for one, and romantic relationships.
