We’ve started a new, on-going segment on “Myths About Suicide” because there are a lot of them out there and they are just not helpful.  If we really want to get serious about suicide prevention, we need to look at the way we talk about and perpetuate ideas about suicide.  One incredibly common myth is that only “crazy” people think about suicide.  This type of thinking can lead us to dismiss the warning signs that people often demonstrate when something has gone wrong.
