He talks about how his parents made living in America for a 6-year old much grander than he thought it was going to be. He talks about staying in a 1-bedroom apartment as a family of five, having to adjust to a new language and a different culture.
He speaks about the discrimination that his parents experienced for being immigrants and the sexual harassment that his sister had to endure in order to keep her job and help the family. He talks about how the narrative that he had in his head did not match the reality in front of him.
