095:What I learnt about Being on TV

Have you ever been on TV? What was your experience?

I want to share what I learnt about being on TV in this episode. Unfortunately, I cannot share a lot about the show, but I can assure you that you’ll get the key takeaways.

The filming took place in a hotel in London. What I found really interesting about the day was there was a lot of sitting around and waiting to be called upon to do the next bit of filming. Because ultimately, this show has a script that they’re aiming to cover.

The start of the story was interviewing me and asking me about my story about how I got to become the Laughter Man. I was giving them a few different answers about, you know, how it was running my business, how I discovered laughter, how laughter changed my life and how I wanted to change other people’s lives with it.

I went on to the show, and I did my laughter in front of an audience. There were probably about 1000 people. It was definitely a bit of a factory line. Next, we got a message to get back onto the minibus and head to the theater for a stage show-off. It was a nervous process with a lot of waiting. All I can say is that it went well. I was able to get everyone laughing.

My ultimate takeaway was that you are just this piece of a puzzle a bigger picture when you are on television.
