"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." ~ Matthew 25:35-40.

This week we explore the truth that love is NOT convenient. No, my friends, love is often difficult and stretching. It is both glorious and painful, joyful and sorrowful. Yet, it is through the abounding love that we carry that we begin to embody Christ himself, for "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."
