What Is It To Be Free?

Versalle is a 48-year young Black woman who was born and raised in Harlem and resides there currently. Versalle has a passion to help others and always has, she has worked in the medical field for close to 20 years, focusing on Public Health and the prevention of disease. Versalle survived the crack era along with the AIDS/HIV era, witnessing family members suffer from both diseases. Versalle's writing and love for writing were discovered in 2010 when she decided she needed a change and returned to school for her BA in Psychology. Versalle found therapy through writing, which she likes to refer to it as "FREE" writing. Versalle has been divorced 2x from the same man, which she has no regrets about, and love the wonderful Father he is to their Beautiful daughter. Versalle has transitioned in life many times, Spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. Versalle tries her best to live a righteous life and is always willing to learn something new.
