Rena Dipti, writer, director, producer and host of The Sisterhood of the MummyImperfect Podcast joined us this week to talk about the multi million pound industry that is skin lightening.

Shaadi.com also recently removed the tone filter on their website however it further enforced the problems set within Asian culture.

Joel reflected on the skin tone based issues within the music industry particularly within Dancehall surrounding Vybz Kartel.

Rena talked on a need of more accurate representation in film and wedding magazines for example as to what it is to be a brown person as opposed to European models being casted in place of actual Asians.
