Bible Summary Numbers 28 - 30

Numbers Chapter 28 – 29 The following two chapters concern details of the sacrificial system God instituted as part of the covenant made with Israel at Mount Sinai. These sacrificial offerings include; The morning and evening offerings, The Sabbath offering, The monthly offering, Offerings at Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Offerings at the Feast of Weeks, Offerings at the Feast of Trumpets, Offerings at the Day of Atonement and Offerings at the Feast of Tabernacles. As Israel was now on the threshold of the Promised Land, they needed to be reminded of the essential place of sacrifice. As part of the covenant God made with Israel at Mount Sinai, it could not be ignored or rejected.
Lesson learnt: Always obey God’s instructions.

Numbers Chapter 30: A vow made to God is no small thing. God commanded that His people should be careful to keep their vows, and to fulfill every oath they make. And God instructed Moses how each vow made should be redeemed.
Lesson learnt: God don’t want promise and fail vow on what you know you can do.
