Yolanda’s Summary of Numbers 25 -27

Numbers 25 Israel lived in Shittim. The men of Israel started having sex with the Moabite women. They also started to worship Baal of Peor.This made God angry.------------------------------God instructed Moses to take all the leaders of Israel and kill them by hanging them publicly to turn God's anger away from Israel.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------A Israelite man took a Midianite woman to his tent and Phinehas grabbed a spear and kill them both.---------------------------God stopped his anger against The People of Israel.-----------------Summary: Our God is a jealous God and we do not put another God before Him. There is only one God and I serve Him.

Numbers 26 Moses and Eleazar the priest were instructed to count the entire community of Israel by families. They were also to count every person who is 20 years old and older to go to war.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Moses was instructed by God to divide the inheritance of the land based on the population. Larger groups got larger inheritance and smaller groups got smaller inheritance.-----------Summary: God values us. We are rewarded by God when we honor Him. Grace, Favor, Love and etc.

Numbers 27 Zelophehad had daughters named Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah and Tirzah. There father died and had no sons. The daughters wanted there fathers inheritance. God told Moses that the daughters were right and granted them there request for the inheritance.--------------------------------------------------------Joshua was commissioned to lead the Israelites into the Promise Land. Joshua was faithful and obedient.---------------------Summary: Our God is just and fair.
