Before getting involved in the fitness industry, he was working on a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and decided that helping people improve their lives through better fitness and Olympic Weightlifting was his calling. He’s coached hundreds of athletes both online and in-person. Alex previously hosted the infamous Barbell Shrugged Podcast and has competed in Weightlifting at the national level. In this episode, Alex clearly identifies the key components of assessing clients in a way that ensures sustainability of both client results and the client-coach relationship. He walks us through how he’s relied on his journey to define for him what’s important and what’s not.
