So, how many times have you had your expectations get you in trouble in your relationship? And , how many times have your expectations set you up for a resentment when a significant other or others fail to live up to your expectations? It seems that many times our expectations for others are kept to ourselves. We don't tell them,  so others have no idea what our expectations of them are, and when they don't live up to those expectations we're both angry, frustrated,  and disappointed!
