Join me as I interview Veteran and amputee Paul Findlay, on exactly the 11th anniversary of his accident, completely by coincidence.
In this episode of How to Survive your Twenties, Paul talks about his motivation behind joining the military at such a young age, and how his life changed drastically after being involved in an IED explosion, that led to having his leg amputated. Not only did he lose his leg that day, but his entire career which he was so passionate about.
This story is proof that anything can happen, and that life can change so quickly, it’s how we adapt to it that counts.
Paul is a veteran support worker for the UK charity Blesma. He also volunteers for the NHS and team rubicon.
