Society sells us a lie that in order to be complete we have to be in a relationship and in our desperation to be complete, to be somebody we make bad choices, start unhealthy relationships, and sell our bodies and souls in payment for that lie. And yet the Bible warns us to not look to the ‘world’ to bring fulfilment, because it is only through Christ that we find fullness. We are complete in Christ and Christ is all we need.
