Featuring Guy Harriman, who is the inventor of the Anja Light http://www.anjalight.com Guy Harriman was born in Leeds, U.K. in 1955. His father was a Neuropathologist, and his mother a Psychiatrist, both working at Leeds University. Guy originally went to Medical School at the age

of 18, in Leeds, but changed after a year and did electronics, building music synthesizers and then getting his  B.Sc. at UMIST, Manchester. Guy was a chip designer for 23 years, first in the UK for 10 years as lead designer of the Transputer parallel processor, and then working in Silicon Valley. He worked for 4 years for Steve Jobs at NeXT, then 6 years at Cisco and 7 other startups. Guy has three patents from that time. Guy retired from corporate work in 2002. By that time he was a yoga teacher and body worker, doing Thai massage in Silicon Valley as well as therapy work with individuals. Guy moved to Thailand in 2008, and built his lannayoga.com Healing Center in Chiang Mai, where he still lives.


Also we are very excited to have special guest Dr. Dennis McKenna  joining us as well!!! Dr. McKenna is currently Assistant Professor in the Center for Spirituality and Healing at the University of Minnesota, world renown ethnopharmacologist and among many other accomplishments a founding board member of the Heffter research institute Heffter.org  as well as his newest foundation http://www.symbiolifesciences.com/

His doctoral research (University of British Columbia,1984)  focused on the ethnopharmacology of ayahuasca and oo-koo-he, two tryptamine-based hallucinogens used by indigenous peoples in the Northwest Amazon. Dr. McKenna completed post-doctoral research fellowships in neurosciences in the Laboratory of Clinical Pharmacology,  National Institute of Mental Health (1986-88), and in the Department of Neurology, Stanford University School of Medicine (1988-90). Dr. McKenna is author or co-author of three books and over 40 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and is of course the brother of the late great, Terence McKenna.
