For this week’s terrible takes, we have curated some of the worst of the worst conservative voices in media, politics, and the blogosphere in our ongoing attempts to discourage our fellow white males from embracing the alt-right. We’ll discuss David Brooks’ new bae Jordan Peterson, proud sexist Courtland Sykes, and the foam on the rabid dog’s mouth, good old Breitbart News. Across the aisle, we’ll discuss Hillary Clinton’s newest scandal and the myth of the Bernie bro.

Before we get to the fun stuff, we are also going to discuss the sickening agenda the Trump administration has outlined for the suppression and subjugation of our immigrant comrades in the wake of the Democrats’ utterly uninspiring yet unsurprising cave-in on the government shutdown. For pop culture this week, we are going to explore nostalgia as it relates to the unstoppable tide of reboots, sequels, and remakes flooding the film industry. We’ll talk about Netflix’s Wormwood, and we’ll evaluate some recent reboots.

To close us out, in this week’s storytime, Dan will tell you a trippy tale from his college days, culminating in an unexpected foe that will teach him the joy of service to the elderly. It’s all that and more this week on the Plunge.
