Eric Christiansen is the founder of E C Productions, and has over 20 years of experience in both the documentary and commercial worlds. Eric is a Seven-time Southwestern Region Emmy Award recipient, having also received an International Monitor Award for Best Director and Silver and a Gold Award from the Houston International Film Festival.

Eric tells his story of how he turned his own traumas and addictions into something beautiful, being able to bring a voice to so many others.

In this episode, Eric and I talk about how being an empath has affected him in his work of being a witness to other people's traumas, his opinions on what creates resiliency in some people & their ability to cope and heal with traumatic incidents, and so much more.

Eric is currently working on the project of filming UnMASKing HOPE: which "chronicles the extraordinary stories of a disparate group of trauma survivors who don “masks” that bury their spiritual, physical and emotional pain. From survivors of 9/11 and mass shootings, to service members in combat and chronic sexual abuse victims, the film goes behind their MASKS to experience the abuse, social stigma, and moral injury that have scarred their souls."
