Honora Englander, M.D., an associate professor of medicine in the OHSU School of Medicine, is leading a team of physicians, peer mentors, and social workers that are addressing the enormous gaps in substance use care. Known as PROJECT IMPACT, this team is helping patients with care, compassion, and empathy and treating addiction as the chronic brain disease it is. With a developed integrated care system, PROJECT IMPACT ensures each patient is given the resources for recovery.
