This week, we have part two of our interview with Ijeoma Oluo, hosted by M. Shernell Smith. Shernell is the Associate Director for Community Engagement at the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion here at CMU. She is an activist and community leader who has spent years championing sustainability, social inclusion, and economic prosperity for CMU students and the broader Pittsburgh community.
Shernell talks with Ijeoma about current issues and dove a bit more deeply into her personal narrative around race, racism, social activism, as well as raising a child of color in today’s society.
