Crazy times. I left NYC and returned to Berlin when corona turned into a forecasted economic crisis.
So my format 'Voices of New York' will continue as soon as I am back!
In the meantime I want to share with you inspiring German men and women.
(Note: this episode is in GERMAN. The script can be shared in English, too. Just drop me a Facebook in mail on @happykidmonday)

I spend a lot of time reflecting on the past 8 years (since I finished High School) and remembered my first passion: dancing.

Renate Lekovic is leading the most successful ballet school on Kurfürstendamm in Berlin. She is a very warm-hearted, family-oriented, ultra disciplined, inspiring woman. Earlier this year we already had a talk and I felt her story needs to be heard as p.eg. how she found her husband and wasn't allowed to marry him even though they loved each other or how she founded her first ballet school with 150 students and no facility. She believes that fighting for your dreams is essential and I also got her beautiful daughter Elli speak up about how family Lekovic plans holidays and why they love travelling so much.
