This episode of 'Thoughts on the Run' is all about a recent experience I had getting ready for a long run.

Sometimes external things get in your way and can throw you off your game.

Other times, though, it's your own fault. In this case, I re-learned a valuable lesson about what happens when I'm stressed, how the choices of today can sabatoge the plans for tomorrow and how to cut through excuses when things seem to go sideways.
