No matter where you live, installing a drip system helps ensure that you get water right where the plant needs it. But how do you know if you're using the right emitter and delivering the right amount of water to the plant?

With several drip irrigation options, it's easy to grab whatever is available and hope it's right. 1 GPH, 4GPH, button emitters, mini stake sprinklers, shrubblers or bubblers... how do you decide?? How do you take  out the guess work select the correct one based on the plant's needs? What's the formula or science behind choosing the right one?
