As we start our #WorkOnWellness goals, and get into the meat of the Action Plan, we have to start the sports training. My recommendation is don't think if it as exercise. When we were little, our friends would come to the door, ring the doorbell and ask our Mom, "Can Tony Come Out and Play?" I would be running out the door as fast as I could. I'd go running off with my friends and we would play all day. Running around, riding bikes, walking miles to other friends houses. We wouldn't think of it as exercise. But it was. We would be thinking about going out to play.


It was that youthful spirit we had. We loved to go outside and climb the hills, climb the trees. I remember going out to the park and playing football or baseball. Some kids would play soccer. We usually did this from sun up until sun down. The spirit of playing should be extended to us now, as adults. We would enjoy it more. I love to go walking the hills around the area I live. It reminds me of exploring when I was a little boy.


Take that youthful spirit into your workouts as you work toward your goal to lose weight or to #WorkOnWellness.
