If you have been following the news since 2017 started, you would think the future of the United States is in trouble. Majority of the people probably think that the current president is going to do a horrible job. There have been nationwide protests. People are upset and fearful about the future.

I’m not worried and I’ll tell you why.

It’s because I can’t control what the government does. They have a job to do and so do I.

To me it doesn’t matter if it’s Trump, Clinton, Sanders, or Obama in office, I’m not worried about what they are or are not doing. I can’t control that. Complaining about it won’t help either.

All I can control is what I do in my own life. I control the decisions I make. I control what I will watch and I choose to not watch so much news because it’s so bad. It just fills our minds with fear and worry.

The news isn’t the only problem. It’s our social media feeds. It’s the people we follow without questioning why we follow those people. There’s a lot of negativity that comes from other people and if you don’t make a decision to clear out the junk that you consume every day, it’ll affect you in a bad way.

In this episode, I talk about why I’m not worried about the future unlike a lot of people in the United States and what I’ve done to ensure that I avoid people and topics that bring me down or put me in a bad mood.
