Jean and I have a frank discussion about how tolerance and acceptance have too often been replaced by intolerance, disapproval and rejection. We discuss our experiences by tackling two big subjects, religion and politics.

As a Buddhist, Jean has heard all too often, that she is on the wrong path or is going to hell. She is not proselytizing or trying to beat people over the head with her views, yet people continually offer their opinion on her choices.

Even though I need to lose weight, I have to do it my way. Well meaning family and friends aren’t helping me by trying to shove their (successful) weight loss efforts down my throat. I need to do it my way and that should be okay.
