Long gone are the days of my father, when you could work your way thorough school. I don’t even think it is possible to prepare for college like my parents prepared for me, with a growing college savings account that started when I was an infant.

Kids are graduating today and putting off home ownership and marriage because they can’t afford anything besides paying off a Herculean college loan debt. Is it possible to pay for a college education without stressing out parents and starting a college graduate with a mountain-sized debt load?

Beverly Horton may have some answers. Her oldest is currently in graduate school and her youngest is starting her second year with a 50% athletic scholarship and a 50% academic scholarship.

Not everyone can do what Bev did, but she may have some ideas that might help you right where you are right now.
