Hi, I'm Joanne Lee. I have 3 teenagers who are the light of my life. Being a stay at home mum, I too have my dreams. Now I am a mumpreneur in the beauty and wellness business. Over the years I've learnt how to manage both dreams and family. In this episode, we have our very special guest her name is Joanne Lee. Joanne Lee is a mother of three teenagers, she is also known for being a podcast coach, professional make-up artist, beauty trainer and leader of excellence of Soul rich woman 2019.

The start of building confidence

If you are starting on a business, we cannot deny the fact that there are doubts running in your head. You sometimes think of negative things. But when you start doing your passion and give the best of you that’s the moment you will keep on doing what you want. (1:13- 1:52) In this podcast show has not only impacted my life it has also transformed my life completely. It has helped build my online presence and also my online credibility. After launching my podcast I immediately receive inquiries and I have leads to follow-up with and this is something which I have always been struggling to get ever since I started my business way back three years ago. So now I no longer have to go out to look for my target audience instead they come looking for me.  (1:55-2:15) And so now all the tables have been turning round for me I have many friends who might not contacted for very long time they do direct message me to either congratulate me and also ask me what I was doing. Ask me about my business and if I could speak to them more. They are so interested in what I was doing. They really want to seem success for themselves. They got interest in what I do

It’s nice when there are people who are interested on what you are doing. It’s nice to influence other people good things. (4:16-4:32) And now, even my children takes an interest in what I do. They will listen to my pre-recordings, my podcast and even say they want to give me some feedback or review of what they think. So this is something very special for me because previously when I was doing all my stuff they are not interested in what I was doing.  (5:04) So they are very interested, they want to make sure they want to help me. So they want to give me advise they want to give me feedback on how I could present myself even better and get more success. So this is really pretty awesome! So when Genecia first propose the idea of podcasting to me I really do not think of what I was in for, so I agree because I trust her.


Nothing is impossible

When you believe in yourself, impossible becomes possible. Love what you do and give your best to it, it will surely result to success.

(7:41-8:00) Why follow when you can lead? Upon hearing this I understood that nothing bad will happen to me. Sure definitely, you lose some faith you feel shy but seriously nothing bad will happen to me. 

(10:08-10:14) Perfectionism overcame me but luckily I have my mentor beside me.

(10:36-10:41) Just focus on doing one thing, we can really achieve the impossible.
