Previous Episode: The Fear Factor

Covid changed things for hip-hop artist Dave Miranda. Since he was accustomed to performing in person he needed to pivot if he wanted to continue sharing his music. He turned that love and old-school hip-hop into an Instagram Live providing a different platform for entertainment and growth. Dave aka Mister Miranda did a documentary with his business partner and friend, Jimmy Nelson who taught him the basics of editing and filming in preparation for future opportunities. Since he was getting bored with music but still loved being creative he branched out into media where his show Just Give Me Five was born. Dave wanted to hear the stories of classic hip-hop musicians who paved the way for up-and-coming artists not only in Arizona but globally. Eventually, the show expanded to include interviews with athletes, media personalities, and people with a story by asking five questions. Dave interviewed Coach Clarence on Just Give Me Five about his days in the music industry, the clubs they frequented, and how the business has changed. His dream guest? You’ll have to listen to find out!
