When you’ve been TTC for a while, a *perfect* lifestyle coupled with *perfect* thinking, is subliminally, yet absolutely encouraged by many experts in the fertility field. Believing that perfection is the only way to conception, can very obviously lead to you being incredibly hard on yourself, when the human side of you still exists in this lifetime (shocking…I know). And one easier-to-notice hint that you’ve been picked up by the perfectionist train, is all or nothing thinking. It’s believing that if you didn’t react/think/eat/drink/fuck/exercise/yada-yada-yada PERFECTLY – then you failed. But the truth and the feeling of failure is only ever really true, in your head.
