In this episode of Fast To Heal Stories, Shana talks with Alison Johnson. Alison is a full-time teacher, and busy mom of 2 active children. Alison is also a fitness instructor, and has found her workouts and running have improved since implementing intermittent fasting.

Although Alison has always been active and exercised or taught fitness classes most days,  she wasn’t happy with her weight. She cycled through periods of weight loss and weight gain, and felt bloated often. She felt she was in a food rut and ate the same things most days. She discovered intermittent fasting in January of 2020, and since implementing it, feels great. She has also found keto to be helpful, and feels best on a lower carb diet. 

In this episode, hear how Alison lost 20 pounds, overcame annoying bloating, and chiseled herself down to a size 4! She also discusses working out in a fasted state.

Alison talks about her approach to weight loss, what has worked, what she is still working on, how she deals with stress, and what recommendations she has for others starting this lifestyle.
