Fred Rutman had tried everything to lose the weight he had gained after acquiring his MBA. He did all the CICO methods, tried a bariatric doctor (no surgery), and did daily exercise, only to plateau at 280lbs.

Fred was fighting his way to a healthier life until the summer of 2009 came crashing down on him and forced him onto permanent medical leave.

Something was causing Fred to pass out at random times, leading to many hospital visits, multiple concussions, and a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes.

It turns out his heart was stopping. Fred was clinically dead dozens of times.

After multiple misdiagnoses, complications, and failed pacemakers, Fred had had enough.

In 2018, he learned about intermittent fasting and his life hasn’t been the same since. Fred attributes a large majority of his recovery to the healing powers of intermittent fasting, after he reversed his type 2 diabetes, dropped 10 pant sizes, and ultimately, got his health back.

Today, Fred is an Intermittent Faster, Coach, and author of the up-and-coming book, “The Summer I Died Twenty Times”.
