I binged a queer reality dating show and it was everything I needed... Until it wasn't. This show was entertaining and had me thinking about my desires in marriage and relationships.
Then it got uncomfortable. The traumas and triggers holding the cast members back from marriage were unavoidable. (content warning, domestic violence is discussed in this episode and shown in The Ultimatum)
I couldn't let a certain someone's actions fly under the radar. I try my best to hold abusers accountable.
I decided to spill my thoughts and feelings on this experimental approach to self discovery. I'll go over the pressure on women and femmes to get married and have kids sooner rather than later, why we shouldn’t diagnose real people in entertainment, and pondering how far can self sacrificing go?
