At the beginning of December, I went over to Reykjavik in Iceland with my friends Adam, Tamer and Anton. This episode is about what we got up to, what we loved and our top tips if you plan in visiting the city!

We booked flights and accommodation through Lucky Trip
We stayed at Thor Guesthouse - the staff were incredible and very friendly
Things we did:
Free walking tour, which happens every day at 11am
Hired a car to drive the Golden Circle (Thingvellier national park, Gullfoss Falls, Geysir)
Visited a geo-thermal swimming pool (Sundhöllin)
Went to the Secret Cellar Comedy Club
Booked a Northern Lights tour
Visited the Grotta lighthouse
Food and drink:
Iceland Street Food does amazing refillable soups
Hi Noodle for great Ramen
Joylato for amazing ice cream
Baejarins Beztu Pylsur for a world famous hot dog
Olverk for nice pizza (on the Golden Circle)
Iceland Craft Bar for lots of local beers & to try the fermented shark
Kaffi Mokka for nice coffee
Babalu coffee for the Star Wars toilet!
Koffinn bar for great Latin music
Top tips!
Hire a car to do the Golden Circle (we used rentalcar.com to get a good deal and insured through icarhireinsurance)
Use Aurora app to track Northern Lights
The walking tour is a great way to learn about the city
