I had the pleasure of talking with Dr. Jessica Thomas about her method of using Mindful Photography to help individuals deal with grief and loss. Dr. Thomas has used her method with both adults and school aged children with gratifying results that speak to the power of this method to help individuals work through the thoughts, emotions and feelings that are often associated with grief and loss. Whether the loss be via death, change, or separation; this is a resource that offers a way forward through creative expression.
Dr. Thomas is a Licensed Therapist, Professor at Louis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and a Grief Educator. Please take a listen as we discuss this fascinating intervention.
