As Realtors, we have ample opportunities to make an impression, create credibility and gain trust from others. That all relies on having stellar presentation and public speaking skills.

When speech apprehension is a thing (#drysol) and real estate professionals don't consider their speaking skills in the first place, often times those opportunities to win a client, negotiation or presentation falls flat because of a lack of skill and practice.

Public speaking expert and consultant, Idora Silver of I. Silver Management, Inc., chatted with me about why Realtors, and business owners in general, should consider their public speaking and presentation skills and how best to prepare for all kinds of presentation opportunities.

Here's a great question to consider before any presentation: Why is the audience here now and what I can do for them? (i.e. why is the owner selling their home now and what can I do to help them get that done?)
