Let's all be honest with ourselves. Edtech conferences are largely BS.

1. Most people are their to further their careers. Just admit it and I'm cool with it. You have every right to do this.

2. The "revolutionary tools" are all just window dressings. Good teaching has never changed. The motivation of the new tool is directly related to it's novelty. That's it.

Care about people and your students. See them as individuals and allow them to explore the world, themselves, and others. That's it.
