Happy Podcast Friday! Welcome to Episode 157: “Get Off My Bus” – with Author & Motivational Speaker, Robin Sacks.
Professionally, Robin is a confidence/performance coach, professional speaker, author and motivator. Personally, Robin is a mom, wife, and friend. She is proud to say that she has facilitated personal and professional development workshops internationally for companies including Microsoft, Panera, and American Greetings.
Robin wrote a book, "Get Off My Bus!: How to Get Clarity, Get in the Driver's Seat, and Get Moving in Your Life!," and she was nominated for Small Business Trends' Small Business Book of 2010. I personally think Robin is fabulous and I cannot wait to get this interview started!
Here is a preview of our topics:
*Are you on autopilot? Anything taking up my time that needs removed?
*We get in our own way more than anyone else or anything else… The good news is that if I’m the problem, I’m also the solution
*Pulling you into my calm, not getting pulled into your chaos
*Setting boundaries for ME
*Givers need to set limits, because takers never will (we know where we get our stress, we know where we get our energy)
*Vent Clock – don’t carry around your stress (once you unpack your baggage you don’t have to carry it around all day)
*Practice doesn’t make perfect, practice makes permanent
