5th Grade Teacher

Mr. Tom McPhillips was my fifth grade teacher and he had a huge impact on me.

He played a crucial role in building my foundational academic skills in subjects, like math, reading and writing. He was such a great teacher. He knew how to instill a love for learning.  In my eyes, this is the spark and the curiosity and enthusiasm that you require for knowledge. Teachers can play a significant role in boosting a student confidence. 

He provided the reinforcement and encouragement that has had a long lasting impact on my life.
